Fleurop launches "BLOOMY DAYS powered by Fleurop" as a second brand
For the first time in its long history, Fleurop AG is investing in a second brand. From 2 October 2017, the Berlin-based company will operate the brand of the insolvent start-up BLOOMY DAYS under the name “BLOOMY DAYS powered by Fleurop”.

In July an open letter from founder Franziska von Hardenberg announced the insolvency of the start-up BLOOMY DAYS. The e-commerce company founded in Berlin in 2012 offered cut flowers sent by carton initially as a subscription and later by individual order as well. During the preliminary insolvency proceedings, Fleurop AG produced a convincing concept for the continuation of the BLOOMY DAYS brand. From 2 October, the online shop “BLOOMY DAYS powered by Fleurop” will operate under the Internet address www.bloomydays.com.
For more than 100 years now, Fleurop has been delivering flowers to people around the world. The bouquets are arranged by local florists and delivered to the customers in person. From the very beginning, BLOOMY DAYS and Fleurop had a common mission: To share a passion for flowers and to make people happy with lovingly arranged bouquets. Fleurop CEO Dr. Stefan Gegg looks forward to the upcoming tasks: “We were sorry to hear about the financial problems that the young company suffered. Our goal now is to use our many years of experience in the “green industry” to continue the fascinating story of BLOOMY DAYS by establishing a solid and sustainable basis for BLOOMY DAYS powered by Fleurop.” BLOOMY DAYS’ customers will continue to receive high-quality cut flowers in the accustomed style and delivery cycle.
