Hanging amaryllis table decoration

Step-by-step instructions for the hanging amaryllis decoration:

In the first step, we decided to wrap the metal ring with linen ribbon as we liked the natural texture of the linen ribbon more than the plain metal ring. You can omit this step if you wish.

For the suspension, attach jute cord at equal intervals to three points on the ring, bring them together in the centre and knot them together.

Now we want to position the "base frame" above the table. Bear in mind that the amaryllis and greenery will be attached to it later - so the ring should not hang too low, but not too high either.

Next, prepare the attachment of the amaryllis and greenery. To do this, tie jute cord to the ring at regular intervals.

Next, trim the amaryllis to the desired height. Tip: Border the end of the amaryllis with some transparent adhesive tape so that the stem doesn't fray.

Then you can gradually decorate the ring with amaryllis. To do this, cross the prepared jute cord in front of the amaryllis, then tie the cord around the ring, tie a knot in front of the amaryllis and then cut off the ends of the cord.

So that you can enjoy your beautiful amaryllis decoration for a long time, provide the amaryllis with fresh water regularly. The stem of the amaryllis is hollow and can be filled with water. This means that it always receives the care it needs, even upside down.

Repeat step 4 and attach the pine and olive branches to the remaining cord.

For an extra festive touch, wrap the ring with a string of LED silver wire lights if required.

This makes it easy to decorate the Christmas table with beautiful amaryllis. If you prefer an even more classic look, you can also decorate the ring with red amaryllises only.
